Titilayo Hassan (also known as Layo or Titi) is a Nigerian-American, born and raised in Lagos Nigeria. She migrated to the USA at the age of 18 where she studied Accounting and attained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at Rutgers University, New Jersey. She currently works for a Private Equity company and have always had a passion to be an entrepreneur which is why she founded Layo Creations.
Layo Creations was birthed on January 1st 2021 with the intention of cutting the time of preparing/cooking African food for our fast-growing customers who have busy schedules and are not willing to spend all day in the kitchen cooking. African food in general is time consuming from washing the chicken/meat/fish to cooking and seasoning them, then frying/baking, then cutting/washing/blending of peppers etc. This can take about 6 to 8 hours of your time with the meal being consumed in few days. Layo Creations have come to save the day and time by providing you with dehydrated products that have gone through all the cutting, washing, and sorting process and will only take you 30 minutes to an hour to cook your meal.
In addition, we also want to share our food culture with the entire world by providing easy way to make African food which also creates space for your refrigerator. Our products do not need to be refrigerated but stored in the pantry. We hope you will all join us on this new adventure we have embarked on.
