Ingredients Needed
- 1 pack of Layo Creations African Honey Beans Flour with Spices
- 2 tablespoons of grounded crayfish (optional)
- 1 raw medium egg to make it fluffy (optional)
- ½ cup of Oil
- 5 cups of warm water
- 2 medium hard-boiled eggs (sliced)
- ¼ cup of corned beef (optional)
- 2 pieces of sardine fish in pure olive oil (optional)
- Additional hot pepper as desired
Making Moi-Moi with Layo Creations Honey Beans Flour with Spices
- Put all ingredients (except boiled eggs, corned beef, and sardine fish) into a large mixing bowl.
- Beat with a wooden spoon or a hand-held mixer for 2-3 minutes, or until just combined.
- Let the mixture sit in the bowl for 1.5 hours.
- Pour or spoon the mixture and sliced eggs, corned beef, and sardine fish into each of the pouch/containers of choice.
- Add 8 cups of water to the steamer pot on medium heat for about 3-5 minutes.
- Arrange the mixture pouch/container to the top of the steamer, cover, and steam for 90 minutes.
- Serve & enjoy with Pap (ogi), Bread, Rice, Oatmeal, and more.
